DOCEFREZ INJECTION 120mg/3ml Vial contains Docetaxel, a potent chemotherapy medication used primarily in the treatment of various cancers, including breast, lung, prostate, and gastric cancers. It belongs to the taxane class of drugs and works by interfering with cancer cell division, ultimately inhibiting tumor growth.

Each vial contains a concentrated dose of 120mg Docetaxel in 3ml of solution, designed for intravenous administration under strict medical supervision. The formulation is sterile and preservative-free, ensuring patient safety and efficacy when administered as per prescribed guidelines.

  • Indications: Approved for treating locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, prostate cancer, and other malignancies as determined by an oncologist.

  • Dosage: Administered intravenously over 1 hour, typically once every three weeks. Dosage adjustments may be required based on patient response and tolerance.

  • Precautions: Patients should be premedicated with corticosteroids to reduce the risk of fluid retention and hypersensitivity reactions. Regular blood tests are recommended to monitor white blood cell counts.

  • Side Effects: Common side effects include fatigue, nausea, hair loss, and low blood cell counts. Severe reactions may include allergic responses, neuropathy, or fluid retention.

  • Storage: Store at controlled room temperature (20°C–25°C) and protect from light. Unopened vials should remain in their original packaging until use.

DOCEFREZ INJECTION is contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment or a history of hypersensitivity to Docetaxel. Always consult a healthcare professional before use to ensure proper administration and minimize risks. This medication should only be handled by trained personnel due to its cytotoxic nature.

For optimal results, treatment should be part of a comprehensive cancer care plan, including regular monitoring and supportive therapies. Patients are advised to report any unusual symptoms immediately to their healthcare provider.
